Senior Financial Analyst

The position:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our Central Team in the Financial Planning and Development department.
We are responsible for coordinating the Scandinavian processes for operational plan, forecasting, management reporting and analysis, as well as expense management and cost allocation. The team is delivering timely and high quality reporting and analysis to support senior management decisions.
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will analyse and report on the financial development both from a high level perspective but also from a detailed level, by truly understanding the underlying drivers.
The position is business-oriented and you will work in a flexible, busy and informal environment with experienced professionals at many levels.
The position is based in Copenhagen or Stockholm.
Responsibilities:
- Deep Dive analysis
- Develop new analytical tools
- Participate in monthly reporting
- Participate in preparing the Operational Plans and forecasts for Scandinavia
- Participate in projects to ensure faster and better quality reporting
- Participate in ad hoc projects
Your profile:
You will have a relevant academic education in finance or accounting, with several years of professional experience in finance and / or business analysis. It would be an advantage, but not a requirement, if this background has provided you with experience from the insurance industry. You have a strong drive to continuously improve your deliveries.
As a person you are flexible, very analytical and able to work independently as well as conclude on the basis of limited or complex data. Your strong analytical and communication skill makes you able to enter into complex financial discussion with stakeholders at many levels. You are service minded and able to work with tight deadlines whilst keeping a high level of quality.
You thrive with tasks which contain a mixture of business as usual as well as new developments.
You speak fluently English, understand Danish/Swedish and are an experienced user of Excel.
